Our Mission

In a world where faith is often overlooked, there is a deep need to guide children back to what is true, good, and lasting. The Little Brown Scapular Apostolate exists to reintroduce the devotion of the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Holy Rosary—simple, powerful practices that draw hearts closer to Christ. Through these devotions, children are invited into a life of prayer, trust, and relationship with Jesus through Mary. This is not just about tradition—it is about forming souls for eternity.

A Call We Cannot Ignore

Our Lady’s message, lived out today

From Fatima to Lourdes to Our Lady of Good Help, the Blessed Virgin Mary has consistently called her children to prayer, devotion, and faithfulness. At Fatima, she appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel and asked that we wear the Brown Scapular and pray the Rosary daily. This apostolate exists as a response to that call—making these devotions known, accessible, and lived, especially among children and families.

Fatima

Our Lady called for the daily Rosary and the wearing of the Brown Scapular as a sign of devotion and consecration. Yet these devotions remain powerful, simple, and accessible ways to form hearts in truth, prayer, and trust in God.

Lourdes

Her final appearance came on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, reinforcing the importance of this devotion. Through education, resources, and outreach, we aim to make these devotions known, understood, and lived once again.

Our Lady of Good Help

She asked that children be taught what is necessary for salvation—highlighting the importance of formation from a young age. Yet these devotions remain powerful, simple, and accessible ways to form hearts in truth, prayer, and trust in God.

Today

We continue this mission by equipping families, schools, and parishes with simple tools to form children in faith. Through education, resources, and outreach, we aim to make these devotions known, understood, and lived once again.

Passing the Faith to the Next Generation

A simple mission with eternal impact

The Brown Scapular is a sign of Our Lady’s protection and a call to live faithfully. The Rosary is a prayer that draws us into the life of Christ. Together, they form a foundation that can shape a child’s faith for a lifetime. Through this apostolate, we seek to place these devotions back into the hands of families and communities—so that what has been passed down for generations may not be lost, but lived. We invite you to be part of this mission—by sharing, supporting, and helping bring these devotions to more children. She presented the Scapular as a sign of consecration to her Immaculate Heart and pointed the faithful toward a life of prayer and devotion. This message has not changed—and it has not lost its urgency.
