Protection Against the Devil Miracle
In 2005 a priest was giving a talk about how people are being possessed by the devil. There are many ways the devil is doing this such as Ouija boards, fortune tellers and the Harry Potter’s children’s books. This is a sure way to open the door for the devil to enter into your life. Someone asked the priest how to protect yourself from all of this demonic activity. He said besides avoiding these things completely, the best way to protect yourself against the devil is to wear the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
Here is a quick story from Venerable Francis Ypes who was the brother of St. John of the Cross. One day his Scapular fell off of him. As he replaced it, the devil howled, “Take off the habit which snatches so many souls from us!” Then Francis made the devil admit that there are certain things which the demons are most afraid of: the Holy name of Jesus, the Holy name of Mary, The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Holy Rosary. This is the Protection Against the Devil Miracle.
