Secrets of the Holy Rosary

A White Rose

I was in amazement when I read St. Louis De Montfort’s book called The Secret of the Rosary. Truly I never knew about the many different meanings of the Holy Rosary. So today I’m going to share with you what St. De Montfort says about the White Rose that is intended for priests.

He’s addressing all the priests by giving them this little book called The Secret of the Rosary and calling it “A White Rose” as a gift for them to cherish and keep. He has asked priests to preach the Holy Rosary daily and to teach this devotion to others. He cautions priests not to think that the Rosary is of little importance. He goes on by saying that the Holy Rosary is a precious gift, given by God. He wants priests to use it as a means to convert the most hardened sinners and heretics. God has attached grace to the Rosary in this life and glory in the next.

Many saints have prayed it and the Popes have endorsed it. When the Holy Spirit reveals the beauty and importance of the Holy Rosary to a priest, God and the Blessed Mother will pour out many graces into his soul. Now he will become a true instrument of God’s glory, and his words will be more profitable in one month than in another priest in several years. WOW if only more priests knew this the world would be a much different place.

God not only wants you to preach the Rosary, but you MUST say it daily and say as many as you are able. You can’t give to someone what you have not experienced yourself. St. Paul preached Jesus crucified. This is what you will be doing if you preach the Holy Rosary. It’s not a bunch of Our Father’s and Hail Mary’s. You are preaching about the Blessed Mother and Jesus’ life, death and glorious resurrection.

So, all you good priest out there if you’re not praying the Holy Rosary, I highly encourage you to start. And if you know it in Latin better yet. The devil hates it!
I hope this blog was helpful for you in starting this beautiful devotion. I will leave you with the words of St. Paul “pray without ceasing”. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Until next time may God Bless you abundantly!!!
